Till The End by Gareth Lee | Krazed Writers

Till The End

Dreams give you wings,
Hard work makes you fly,
So spread your wings and look up high.
New beginnings bring new starts,
New love will bring new hearts,
Like butter they melt in the midday sun,
As soon as our feet hit the ground we started to run.
This is in honour of a memorable one.

Till the end you were there as a friend.
You took my heart and taught me how to fend.
You healed my scars and put me on mend,
To higher levels we now ascend.

You gave me a haven, that place I could relieve.
You, like a god in which I could believe.
You set me goals I could try to achieve.
Providing shelter from the rain,
Taking all my insecure pain,
My soul opens up like a drain
So to this lease of life I now claim.

Till the end you were there as a friend.
You took my heart and taught me how to fend.
You healed my scars and put me on mend,
To higher levels we now ascend.

All I achieved is because of us,
Taking the chains away.
You breathe new life through these veins,
Giving light for a new day.
A spark of confidence remains,
A joyous heart still contains
Membranes of the slain
Demons are dead, now this skin i shed.
